Maria Provenzano

Dance Instructor

Maria Provenzano

Maria has always embraced her love for dance since the young age of 3 years old. Her mother, Tina was her first dance inspiration and continues to support all of Maria’s dance adventures to date. She spent much time growing up in the dance studio studying tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary and acrobatics.

As a young adult, Maria attended college at University at Buffalo and Buffalo State  College graduating with her minor in Dance and a Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising. Maria’s love for fashion and the entertainment business eventually led to her involvement in various performances and fashion shows.

A few of her most memorable experiences  include; traveling to Germany with Matthew Clark and his team placing a gold medal at the International Dance Organization Competition and also auditioning for the popular TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” making it all the way to Las Vegas with the Top 40 finalists.

During the process of pursuing her master’s degree in Executive Leadership & Business at Daemen College, she was able to revisit her passion for dance and fashion; specifically how the two could be combined to create a successful business in Buffalo. She worked the last ten years as a Director of Entertainment for her company Foxy Entertainment recruiting and networking with local talent to further pursue their dance careers.

Most recently she has completed her Barre certification from Buffalo Barre and is excited to help others in their fitness journey.

She is grateful to start a new chapter and share her experiences with the growing generations and community at Clark Academy Dance Center!
